Thicker Than Water

Since Kerry Washington was promoting her memoir "Thicker Than Water" I thought that it would be fun to make it look like she was immersed in a pool. I went to YouTube and searched "underwater lighting effect," and watched a handful of DIY tutorials.

It seemed far-fetched that a simple trick of shooting light through an acrylic tray with an inch of water could work - but it did! I commissioned our suburban handyman to build the contraption over the weekend, and was able to do a test the day before.
