Chris Buck is a photographer and director known for his distinctive style: conceptual, irreverent, smart, and intimate.

His portraits have won placement in the prestigious annual American Photography 50 times, and he was the first recipient of the Arnold Newman Portrait Prize. Recent editorial clients include The New Yorker, New Musical Express, Guardian Saturday, and The New York Times Magazine.

In advertising, he has shot campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable brands including Coca-Cola, Google, Microsoft, Kia, and TD Bank; and directed motion spots for Oscar Mayer, SAP and Viagra. A Cannes Lions Grand Prix was awarded to his controversial Diesel campaign that invited their customers to “Be Stupid.”
